Agapi Marketing & Consulting Ltd was incorporated in 2004, and started operating under this name in 2012. Prior to this, Nancy Boisvert, the principal of the company, operated a proprietorship in the field of marketing and public relations since 1984. Over the years, through booms and busts, Nancy has found that many businesses require the services of a marketing consultant. In many instances, these businesses do not have an in-house marketing person or department but have the need to retain the services of an expert who can design and implement a marketing strategy. In other cases, businesses require a third party overview of their marketing strategies and hire Nancy and her team to review their plans and goals, overseeing the changes that will help the company succeed with their marketing efforts and ensure that their marketing dollars are being spent wisely.

During these years, Nancy assisted the national headquarters of the party by spearheading the development of a national corporate fundraising division and overseeing the candidate recruitment process in southern Alberta ridings. Prior to the election in 1993, Nancy was brought on to manage the election campaign for the candidate in the riding of Calgary SE. After running a successful campaign, Nancy stayed on with the new MP until 1995, where she shifted her focus back to the non-political arena. An advocate of lifelong learning, Nancy has continually upgraded her skills, and in 2008 became a licensed financial planner in order to better serve the needs of her clients in the financial industry. Her skill set includes extensive experience in project management and coordination, public speaking and presentations, media relations, public relations, organizational and marketing audits, writing, special event experience, and management expertise.
